|Springfield Hospital update|
|Thursday, 06 November 2008 19:41|
Plans to re-develop the Springfield Hospital site were sent back sent back to the developers this week because they failed to meet the technical requirements for a development of this type and size.
As a result of Sadiq's campaign, run in conjunction with local residents, the developers of Springfield Hospital had already altered the plans to better reflect the feelings of you and your neighbours.
The plans will be re-submitted soon and then Wandsworth Council will have to run a public consultation.
This is normally a minimum of 3 weeks, though Sadiq has written to the Borough Planner urging him to give the consultation as much time as possible.
Sadiq believes a period of at least 6 weeks is reasonable given the size of the development and the huge number of residents it will affect.
