Burglary: don't be a victim
Monday, 17 August 2009 14:26
As a Furzedown resident Sadiq has been very worried by the recent spate of burglaries in the area.

We all need to be vigilant and take precautions against this type of crime to help prevent it.

A few simple steps can help keep your property safe:

  • keep valuables out of sight
  • ensure that you keep side gates and windows locked shut, especially when leaving the house
  • store keys away from the front door/letterbox
  • keep lights/radios on when you’re out of the house.
