The Olympic Torch relay arrives in Tooting this afternoon (map of route below, or here). Approximate timings for the route are as follows:
If you were lucky enough to get tickets to the Olympic torch event on Tooting Common this is the running order: • 5.00pm-5.15pm: Wanted Down Under - winners of the Wandsworth Young Performer competition 2011 • 5.15pm-5.40pm: Twist & Pulse (as seen on Britain 's Got Talent) • 5.40pm-6.00pm: Flame Followers (acrobatic act) • 6.00pm-6.30pm: Rizzle Kicks • 6.30pm: The Mayor of Wandsworth • 6.30pm-6.50pm: MC and British Olympians • 6.50pm: Flame arrives on stage, cauldron lit, interview with Torchbearer • 7.00pm-7.10pm: Graveney School Choir • 7.10pm-7.15pm: Olympic Games – The Greatest Show on Earth • 7.15pm-7.25pm: MC wraps up |
