Date set for Springfield Development Public Inquiry
Monday, 19 September 2011 10:27

It has been confirmed that the Public Inquiry into Springfield Hospital's refused planning application to redevelop the site will commence on Tuesday 8th November at 10am, and continue until approx 5pm (after the first day, it will be a 9am start each day). It will run for 8 working days (please note that it will not sit on Monday 14th November).

The inquiry will be held in Conference Room A, Conference Suite, Building 14 at Springfield Hospital.

If you would like to speak at the meeting, you need to apply to the Planning Inspectorate and send a copy of the statement you wish to read to: Alan Ridley, The Planning  Inspectorate, 4/02 Kite Wing, Temple Quay House, Square, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN. The deadline for submissions is the 18th October.

There was a discussion about the possibility of one session being held during the evening – so local residents who work in the day would not have to take annual leave in order to attend. If you would be interested in attending an evening session please contact Sadiq, so he can notify the Planning Inspectorate if there is interest amongst the local community.
