Early this morning I completed the Umrah pilgrimage, I'm shattered, but it was awesome seeing the diversity of Muslims from around the world who walk around the Kaaba.
The rituals include walking around the Kaaba seven times, drinking zam zam water, walking between the two hills Safa and Marwa seven times and a lot of prayers.
At the end of Umrah men must either have their heads shaved or have a trim... You'll have to wait and see what I chose.
It's been an incredible experience.
Afterwards I was interviewed by a journalist from a leading Saudi TV station and one of the English papers here. Wish all journalists asked such friendly questions!
I'll write more when I get back.
